Mahindra XUV 3XO EV is available in two trims: AX5 and AX7L; uses a 39.4 kWh battery pack coupled with a motor producing 147.5 hp
Mahindra unveiled the its most affordable electric SUV, the XUV 3XO EV, last month. Powering the compact SUV is a 39.4 kWh battery pack coupled with a motor producing 147.5 hp and 310 Nm – enabling a claimed 0–100 kmph acceleration time of 8.3 seconds and an estimated real-world driving distance of about 285 km per charge.
Drivers can tailor performance using three selectable drive settings – Fun, Fast and Fearless – each altering throttle response and power delivery. Customer handovers are scheduled to begin on February 23, 2026 and its bookings are already open at authorised dealerships and online. The electric SUV carries a starting price of Rs. 13.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
It is available in two trims: AX5 and AX7L with the higher specification commanding a premium of Rs. 97,000 over the entry variant. From a visual perspective, the EV retains the familiar styling and proportions of its internal combustion counterpart incorporating LED projector headlamps, signature daytime running lights with built-in indicators, a connected tail-lamp layout, roof rails and a sporty rear spoiler.

Buyers can choose from six paint finishes – Stealth Black, Galaxy Grey, Everest White, Tango Red, Nebula Blue and Deep Forest. Wheel and roof configurations vary depending on grade. The AX5 rides on 16-inch diamond-cut alloys and includes a single-pane sunroof while the AX7L upgrades to 17-inch wheels along with a panoramic sunroof. Inside the cabin, both trims feature twin 10.25-inch high-definition screens serving infotainment and instrumentation functions.
They are complemented by leatherette materials across the dashboard, door pads and seats in the top model. Other highlights are dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless charging pad, rear air vents, multiple USB ports, keyless entry, push-button ignition and a 60:40 split rear bench as standard. The base variant also integrates essentials such as cruise control, electronic parking brake with auto hold, rear camera, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring and six airbags.

Consumers will also get more than 80 digital features like remote vehicle access, monitoring functions, navigation, built-in voice assistant capability and wireless smartphone connectivity. Audio duties in this grade are managed by a six-speaker setup. Opting for the AX7L significantly expands the equipment list – adding Level 2 ADAS features including adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, lane-keeping assistance, collision warnings, traffic sign recognition, etc.
It further gains a 360-degree camera, blind-view monitor, front parking sensors, premium interior touches, a cooled glovebox, auto-dimming mirror and a seven-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. Fast-charging compatibility allows the battery to replenish from 0 to 80 percent in around 50 minutes using a 50 kW DC charger.
