Maruti Suzuki Oct 2025 Sales Analysis – Dzire, Ertiga, WagonR, Fronx, Victoris

Maruti Suzuki Victoris

Maruti Suzuki garnered 1,76,318 unit sales in October 2025 as against 1,59,591 units with a YoY growth of 10 per cent and its MoM surge stood at 33 per cent

Maruti Suzuki ended October 2025 with familiar nameplates once again shaping the brand’s momentum in the mass-market space. The festive window clearly played its part but the bigger story lies in how a mix of long-standing staples and new arrivals worked together to keep Maruti’s volumes comfortably ahead of the curve.

At the front of the pack, the Dzire continued its remarkable run with 20,791 units – proving yet again why it has long been the segment’s default choice for buyers seeking a no-nonsense sedan. The arrival of the new generation only helped its cause. The Ertiga followed closely at 20,087 units – riding on its multi-family versatility and the simple fact that no rival has managed to unsettle its positioning.

Just behind them sat the WagonR, clocking 18,970 units. The model’s ability to stay consistently near the top of Maruti’s sales chart year after year is a reminder that simplicity still wins big in India’s price-sensitive entry-level segment. However, the real storyline is the Fronx, which posted 17,003 units in October as it has been well received since its market launch a couple of years ago.

Meanwhile, the Baleno and Swift continued performing well but the model to watch closely is the Victoris. With 13,496 units, the new midsize SUV has rapidly found its footing. Its positioning between the Brezza and Grand Vitara has worked in its favour and is retailed through the regular Arena dealerships instead of Nexa.

The Brezza and Grand Vitara also held firm though the spotlight this month leaned more toward the recently launched Victoris which appears to have eaten into their sales. Notably, the Eeco continued its usual run with 13,537 units. Maruti’s lower-volume entries like the S-Presso, Ignis and Celerio contributed modestly.

The Jimny, Ignis and Celerio recorded negative YoY sales growths while the flagship Invicto premium MPV garnered a total of 301 units last month as against 296 units with a YoY growth of 2 per cent.
