MG Majestor is a more premium version of the Gloster and it will be loaded with new features and tech upon arrival
JSW MG Motor India is all pumped to introduce a new flagship SUV. Called the MG Majestor, the upcoming model is scheduled to officially debut on February 12, 2026 and will enter into an all-new D+ SUV space. Positioned as the company’s largest and most commanding SUV offering yet, the Majestor is expected to challenge established players in the full-size SUV category.
The first official teaser released by MG shows the Majestor’s emphasis on scale and road presence. Touted as India’s longest, widest and tallest SUV, the teaser offers a glimpse of its front-end design featuring a prominent ‘Majestic Matrix’ grille flanked by sharp Falcon-style LED daytime running lamps and split headlamp units. The overall stance suggests a focus on aggressive detailing with design cues bringing a muscular personality.
MG had previously showcased the Majestor at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 where it appeared alongside the Cyberster and M9. While the latter two models are already on sale through MG’s premium Select outlets, the Majestor is set to become the brand’s most ambitious upmarket SUV yet.

It is based on the Maxus D90 platform – a body-on-frame architecture used globally for large SUVs. Visual differentiation plays a major role here with the Majestor receiving darker grille elements, revised bumpers, skid plates, chunky wheel arches and a more upright stance compared to the Gloster. The side profile is expected to feature 19-inch alloy wheels while the rear adopts reworked tail lamps, prominent Majestor badging and a dual exhaust layout.
Under the hood, the Majestor is expected to carry forward MG’s proven 2.0-litre four-cylinder twin-turbo diesel engine. This unit develops 213 bhp and 478 Nm of torque and is likely to be paired with an automatic transmission. A selectable four-wheel-drive system is also expected but no confirmation has been made yet.

On the inside, the expected highlights include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, connected car technology, a premium audio system, powered and ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control and a comprehensive safety suite featuring a Level 2 ADAS suite and a 360-degree camera system.
