Hyundai Motor India has launched the new generation Venue in India, bringing a comprehensive update to one of its best-selling SUVs. The model, which has already surpassed seven lakh units in cumulative sales, now features a refreshed design, new interior and added technological bits. Bookings are open for a token amount of Rs 25,000 and the SUV continues to be offered with three powertrain options.
They are a 1.2-litre MPi petrol, a 1.0-litre turbo GDi petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The new Venue has grown 48 mm taller and 30 mm wider than before – resulting in improved cabin space and road presence. Exterior highlights include a dark chrome grille, horizon LED light bars at both ends, quad-beam LED headlamps and prominent wheel arches. Other notable design cues include bridge-style roof rails, sculpted door panels and an integrated ‘Venue’ emblem within the rear glass.
