All-new Kia Seltos will get big revisions inside and out while the existing powertrain lineup could continue
Kia is getting ready to pull the wraps off the new generation Seltos on December 10, 2025 in India before going on sale. From the spy images circulating online, it is obvious that the upcoming Seltos wears a more squared-off front end featuring a redesigned grille with a tighter mesh pattern. Sitting beside it are vertical LED headlamps that lead to sweeping C-shaped Daytime Running Lights pushed out toward the corners of the bumper.
The bonnet lines are noticeably deeper and the bumper has put on a fair bit of visual bulkiness as well. Along the sides, the silhouette remains familiar but the details have been heavily refreshed. For instance, there are new dual-tone alloy wheels with a Y-inspired pattern, a sharper triangular rear-side glass section and more muscular wheel arches.
The Korean auto major has also reworked the rear section – giving it new LED tail lamps shaped like mirrored Cs linked by a thin illuminated strip running across the tailgate. The bumper and tailgate panels themselves appear to be completely new. A far more comprehensive update is expected inside the cabin. The dashboard is likely moving to a flatter and more stretched layout.

It will be enhanced with softer surfaces and more premium finishes than before. At the centre of this redesign is a larger infotainment display positioned next to a full-digital cluster – both housed within a single glass panel. The brand is also expected to introduce an updated infotainment interface along with added features.
Features such as ventilated seats, powered driver seat, a panoramic sunroof, climate control, etc will be retained. However, Kia could expand the ADAS suite with additional assistance technologies. Mechanically, the new Seltos is expected to stick to the proven petrol and diesel lineup: the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, the 1.5-litre turbo petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel engine.

Manual and automatic transmissions should remain available across the board while global markets may gain all-wheel drive on select variants. A strong hybrid version has been whispered about for certain markets and could arrive later in the model’s lifecycle. It will continue to rival Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Victoris, Toyota Hyryder, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Tata Curvv and Sierra.
