Expected to go on sale soon, the new Glamour X 125 will get some segment-first features like cruise control, riding modes and more
Hero MotoCorp is ready to launch a new motorcycle in the 125cc segment. It is none other than the updated Glamour 125, which was spied testing in the country last month. The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer recently shared a teaser for a new motorcycle with the tagline ‘India’s most futuristic commuter’, hinting at its imminent launch. In the latest development, more details of the new Hero Glamour 125cc commuter bike have been leaked online, giving away all the necessary information.
Going by the leaked images of the production-ready motorcycle, a new emblem can be seen on the tank, highlighting that it will be named the Hero Glamour X 125. The new version could continue to sell alongside the existing Glamour 125 as a more premium model, however, nothing can be confirmed as of now.
The new Glamour 125 X will get a new fully digital colour TFT instrument cluster, and this is the same unit seen on the Xtreme 250. The biggest addition to the new motorcycle will be the cruise control, which is a segment-first feature. Moreover, it will be the first motorcycle in Hero MotoCorp’s line-up to get cruise control.

As of now, we have only seen cruise control in the premium bigger capacity motorcycles, and introducing it in the commuter segment will mark a significant shift in the market dynamics. In addition to this, a new switch gear console will also be a part of the package, wherein the start-stop button and cruiser control will sit on the right side, while the controls for the instrument cluster, as well as the riding mode button, will be positioned on the left side of the handlebar.
The Hero Glamour X 125 will feature three riding modes – Eco, Road and Power. Apart from this, the 125cc motorcycle will get an LED headlamp and a small under-seat storage box for keeping your documents safely. Talking about the design, we expect some minor changes here and there, including new body graphics and colour options.

The all-new Hero Glamour X 125 will continue to be powered by the familiar 124.7 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, putting out 10.7 bhp and 10.6 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It is expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 95,000 to Rs. 1 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, the Glamour X 125 will rival the likes of the TVS Raider 125 and the recently launched Honda CB125 Hornet.
