Tata Harrier and Safari petrol versions are equipped with more features and technologies and they are powered by a new 1.5L turbo petrol mill
Tata Motors announced prices for the new Harrier and Safari petrol variants powered by the 1.5L turbo GDi engine recently building on the momentum created by the cumulative sales milestone of 2.5 lakh units of both models by strengthening their respective lineups. The Tata Harrier Petrol is priced from Rs. 12.89 lakh while the Tata Safari Petrol starts at Rs. 13.29 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
Along with the introduction of the new petrol powertrain, both SUVs receive several premium features. These include a 36.9 cm infotainment display powered by Samsung Neo QLED, Dolby Atmos audio, Vision-X E-IRVM with built-in dual dash cam and DVR, VisionSync memory ORVMs with auto reverse dip and a ClearView dual camera washer.
The new 1.5L Hyperion turbo four-cylinder GDi petrol engine delivers a maximum power output of 170 PS at 5,000 rpm and 280 Nm of peak torque between 1,750 and 3,500 rpm while claiming to offer segment-best fuel efficiency. The powertrain is tuned for city driving as well as high speed highway stability and delivers improved NVH levels to enable a quieter cabin.

Tata Motors has confirmed that all Harrier and Safari variants equipped with the new gasoline mill have achieved a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating. Tata highlights AI- and ML-based engine optimisation that adapts in real time to driving conditions – contributing to improved efficiency, performance and reduced cabin noise.
Going deeper, you can find that the HyperTech package introduces a segment-first 14.5-inch infotainment display, Dolby Atmos with a 10-speaker JBL audio system, camera washer, Intelli-Start with climate sync and memory ORVMs. The Harrier Petrol is sold in eight variant level: Smart, Pure X, Adventure X, Adventure X+, Fearless X, Fearless X+, new Fearless Ultra and Fearless Ultra Red Dark.

The Safari Petrol comes in 10 trims namely Smart, Pure X, Adventure X+, Accomplished X, Accomplished X+, Accomplished X+ 6S, Accomplished Ultra, Accomplished Ultra 6S, Accomplished Ultra Red Dark and Accomplished Ultra Red Dark 6S. On the outside, updates include 19-inch alloy wheels, signature LED DRLs, the Red Dark edition for both models, a new Nitro Crimson exterior colour for Harrier and refreshed interior themes such as Carnelian Red and Black for Safari and Oyster White with Titan Brown for Harrier. Features like powered and ventilated seats, ambient lighting, Boss Mode and a panoramic sunroof are also present.
