New Tata Sierra has been made available in Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+, Accomplished and Accomplished+ variants; deliveries by mid-January
Recently, Tata Motors brought back the Sierra name in a completely new form and its entry-level ex-showroom price stands at Rs. 11.49 lakh. While this introductory price tag is competitive, the complete price list for all variants will be made public later this month and it will likely be announced before bookings officially open on December 16, 2025 via online and at dealerships.
The new Tata Sierra is positioned above the Curvv in Tata’s Indian lineup and will be available in multiple trims and we expect the whole range to carry attractive pricing as the fully-loaded trim could go all the way up to Rs. 20.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Buyers can choose from Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+, Accomplished and Accomplished+ variants and deliveries are expected to roll out around mid-January 2026.
In terms of powertrain options, the Sierra comes with three different engines. There is a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit that produces 106 PS and 145 Nm of torque. Alongside this, a more powerful 1.5-litre turbo GDI petrol engine generates 160 PS and 255 Nm. The diesel option, also a 1.5-litre unit, develops 120 PS and up to 280 Nm of torque. Gearbox options include manual and automatic choices – a six-speed manual, a torque converter automatic and a DCT.

The SUV is built on Tata’s new modular ARGOS platform which has been developed to support modern safety and performance standards and it will give rise to new fuel types and seating configurations as well. The design pays tribute to the original Sierra – featuring an upright stance, a large glass area and a boxy rear section along with slim headlamps, light bars and dual-tone 19-inch alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin, the highlight is a three-screen layout, made up of a digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment touchscreen and an additional display for the front passenger. The midsize SUV is also equipped with a premium JBL sound system that includes a dashboard-mounted soundbar with Dolby Atmos support.

Other notable features include a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, a floating centre console and an extendable sun visor. The SUV also comes with a powered tailgate, a wireless charging pad and a 360-degree camera system. As for safety, six airbags are offered as standard and a Level 2 ADAS package comprises over 20 assistance functions.
