Nissan Gravite is sold with a 1.0L NA petrol engine mated to either a manual or an AMT transmission in India

The all-new Gravite made its market debut a few days ago and is competitively priced between Rs. 5.65 lakh and Rs. 8.93 lakh (ex-showroom). Available in four primary trims namely Visia, Acenta, N-Connecta and Tekna, it sits on the heavily localised CMF-A+ platform as the Renault Triber and gets a differentiated exterior. Customer deliveries are set to begin next month.

Starting with the base Visia grade, it already comes surprisingly well-equipped for an entry model. Buyers get projector headlamps, dual-tone interior theme, LED cabin lighting, flexible seating with split-fold rows, six airbags, ESP, traction control, hill-start assist and tyre pressure monitoring. The Acenta variant builds on it by adding more comfort-oriented upgrades.

It comprises full wheel covers, piano black exterior highlights, closed centre console storage, rear AC vents for second and third rows, a touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity and steering-mounted controls. Moving further up, the N-Connecta trim ups the ante in terms of styling and more premium equipment.

It gets LED indicators on mirrors, roof rails, dual-tone upholstery, wooden-finish dashboard inserts, cooled storage spaces, rear camera, rear power windows and additional speakers -making it a strong mid-range value pick. At the top sits the Tekna variant with main highlights being LED headlamps with DRLs, fog lamps, dual-tone flex wheels and leatherette seats.

It also boasts height-adjustable driver seat, push-button start, wireless charger, cruise control, auto headlamps and rain-sensing wipers along with front parking sensors and a larger digital instrument cluster amongst others. Mechanically, the Nissan Gravite uses the same 1.0-litre petrol engine producing 72 PS and 96 Nm. It is coupled with either a five-speed manual or AMT gearbox.

The Gravite measures 3,987 mm long with a 2,636 mm wheelbase and offers up to 625 litres of boot space in five-seat configuration. For most consumers, the N-Connecta variant hits the sweet spot. It delivers key tech and comfort upgrades over lower trims without stretching into the premium pricing territory. Here we have listed the key variant wise features of the Nissan Gravite compact MPV:
