Nothing reveals Phone (3a) Lite launch date for India

About a month after its international debut, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite is set to launch in India. The company today announced that the phone will launch on Thursday, November 27, but more details will be revealed at a later date.

The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite is the company’s first budget smartphone under its own brand name. The company had previously chosen to launch its entry-level products under its CMF brand. This includes the likes of the CMF Phone 2 Pro that launched earlier this year. In fact, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite is kind of a worse version of that phone.

Like the CMF Phone 2 Pro, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite has a 6.77-inch, 1080p 120Hz AMOLED display and runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset. It has the same 5000mAh battery and 33W fast charging, along with the same storage and memory configurations. The phone also have mostly the same dimensions.

The main difference between the two phones is in the design, with the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite having the same transparent back glass aesthetic as other Nothing branded phones while the CMF Phone 2 Pro having replaceable solid back panels in vibrant colors. The Phone (3a) Lite is also thicker and heavier than the Phone 2 Pro. But perhaps the most relevant difference is going to be in the camera; while both phones have the same main, wide, and front cameras, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite replaces the 50MP 2x telephoto with a 2MP macro camera.
