The OnePlus 15 made its Chinese debut last month, and went global yesterday. Today, the first software update for the international model has started rolling out. Thus, this will be an out-of-the-box update for buyers of the device.

It identifies as OxygenOS 16.0.1.303, and is of course based on Android 16. It’s going out over-the-air in both India, with firmware version CPH2745_16.0.1.303(EX01), and the EU, with firmware version CPH2747_16.0.1.303(EX01).

The update includes the November 2025 security patch level. The changelog mentions faster app launches from the Home screen, customizable widget names, the ability to resize the clock in Flux themes, widgets being draggable onto other widgets to stack them, automatic straightening being available when cropping and rotating portrait and architectural images in Photos, videos can be set as ringtones, improved virus scanning speed, an improved Ring fingerprint animation, a new interface for AI LinkBoost Network Engine, the ability to receive real-time notifications for network acceleration in poor network conditions, and the ability to test your network speed and check network status details.
