Last month, Renault reduced the prices of all its cars to pass on the full benefit of the revision in the GST structure. All the models the company offers in India measure not more than 4,000 mm in length and have a petrol engine with a capacity not exceeding 1,200 cc.

Thus, the tax applicable to all three of them has reduced from 29% to 18%. The Kwid is now anywhere between 40,095 and 55,095 rupees cheaper, the Triber 53,695-80,195 rupees cheaper, and the Kiger 53,695 and 96,395 rupees cheaper.
