Royal Enfield Himalayan 750, the flagship adv, could go on sale next year and it will feature a brand new engine
Royal Enfield recently shared pictures from Ladakh showcasing the upcoming Himalayan duo. At present, the Himalayan lineup features the 450 cc variant but it is set to grow with the addition of a new flagship 750 cc adventure tourer. An electric iteration is also in the pipeline but it appears that the ICE version is heading to production in the near future.
The test mules already indicated that the Himalayan 750 is close to reaching its production-ready form hinting at a possible launch before the end of next year. Among the most noticeable updates are a reworked front cowl and a larger windscreen. Moving away from the previous generation’s design, the new model is built on an entirely new chassis and it gets a rear monoshock featuring a linkage system.
A larger fuel tank indicates an extended riding range before needing to refuel. At the rear, a combined taillight and turn indicator setup, identical to that of the Himalayan 450, makes an appearance. The upcoming adventure tourer is also expected to feature a brand new TFT screen equipped with connectivity functions.

Ride modes and certain electronic rider aids could also be part of the equipment list. At the front, the Himalayan 750 features fully adjustable upside-down forks. It rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoked wheels. Braking is managed by twin discs with Bybre callipers while the oil cooler has been repositioned for better efficiency.
Additional elements include a high-mounted exhaust, a newly designed bash plate, revised header pipes and purpose-built mounts for touring accessories. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 will employ a newly developed parallel-twin, oil-cooled 750 cc engine. Coupled with a six-speed transmission and a slipper/assist clutch, the motor is tipped to produce more than 50 hp of peak power.

Torque figures are also expected to surpass 55 Nm to ensure ample pulling force for long-distance rides. This combination should give the adventure tourer a clear performance edge over its smaller capacity sibling.
