Skoda is preparing to bring in as many as four new models across different segments this calendar year in India

Skoda Auto India has already laid out a product roadmap for 2026 confirming the launch of four key models across different segments. The lineup includes the price announcement of the Kushaq facelift in March, the high-performance Kodiaq RS in Q2, the sporty Kylaq Sportline+ in Q3 and the much-anticipated Octavia RS towards the end of the year in Q4.

Kicking things off is the Skoda Kushaq facelift which had already been unveiled. The updated midsize SUV receives a comprehensive visual overhaul – starting with a redesigned front fascia featuring a new bumper, revised grille with segmented LED elements inspired by the Kodiaq and updated headlamps. The side profile is enhanced by newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels.

The rear gets connected LED tail lamps with a light bar and a reworked tailgate. The interior sees a significant upgrade as well. The 2026 Kushaq introduces a segment-first rear-seat massage function, a panoramic sunroof, full LED cabin lighting, front parking sensors, illuminated Skoda lettering at the rear, sequential turn indicators, leatherette upholstery and ventilated and electrically adjustable front seats.

Other highlights are a larger 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control and six airbags offered as standard. Power continues to come from the familiar 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI petrol engines, paired with a six-speed manual, seven-speed DSG and a new eight-speed torque converter automatic unit.

Another key highlight of Skoda’s 2026 plan is the Kodiaq RS which is slated to arrive in the second quarter. This performance-focused iteration takes the standard Kodiaq’s 2.0-litre TSI engine to produce 261 bhp and 400 Nm when paired with a seven-speed DSG. The result is a 0–100 km/h sprint time of just 6.3 seconds. The RS package adds red accents, glossy black exterior detailing, blacked-out interiors with contrast red stitching, sporty pedals and so on.

The India-spec model is expected to arrive as a CKD. In the third quarter, Skoda will introduce the Kylaq Sportline+, a sportier version of its sub-4m SUV and current volume driver. While retaining the same 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing 115 PS and 178 Nm, the Sportline+ will focus on visual differentiation inside and out.

The Skoda Octavia RS has proven its immense appeal in India having been introduced in 2025 with a limited allocation. The initial lot of just 100 units was snapped up within minutes. Encouraged by the overwhelming response, Skoda has now confirmed that an additional batch of the Octavia RS will be brought to India in late 2026.
