Tata Motors has extended the lifetime HV battery warranty program to the Curvv EV and Nexon EV 45 after the Harrier EV in India
Tata Motors has rolled out a lifetime HV battery warranty program, covering unlimited kilometers, for the Curvv.ev and Nexon.ev 45 in the Indian market. This benefit is not only for the new first-time buyers but also for the existing customers. Tata lifetime HV battery warranty program was first introduced with the recently launched Harrier EV. In addition, the present owners of the Curvv.ev and the Nexon.ev 45 are provided with a direct benefit of Rs 50,000 under the exclusive loyalty program.
Talking about the benefit of Lifetime HV Battery Warranty to the customer, Mr. Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said, “By democratising premium EV technology, we have played a significant role in advancing India’s EV category’s exponential growth. One of the key factors behind this growth is the ability to instil confidence amongst customers for a worry-free ownership experience. Today, we are proud to extend this feeling even further with the introduction of the Lifetime HV Battery Warranty solution for all customers of the Curvv.ev and Nexon.ev 45 kWh.”
This warranty program can be availed by all the private individual owners of the Curvv.ev and Nexon.ev 45. It covers the first-time new customers as well as the current buyers who are registered as the first owners of either of these cars. Tata Curvv EV is priced between Rs 17.49-21.99 lakh (ex-showroom) while available with 45 kWh and 55 kWh battery packs.

The 45 kWh battery is offered in three entry-level and mid-spec trims namely Creative, Accomplished and Accomplished+ S. On the other hand, the bigger 55 kWh battery pack is introduced with a total of four mid and top-end variants namely Accomplished, Accomplished+ S, Empowered+ and Empowered+ A. Moreover, Tata Curvv EV Dark Edition has also been launched at Rs 22.24 lakh (ex-showroom) in the range-topping Empowered+ A grade with the 55 kWh battery pack.
Coming to the Nexon EV 45, it is available in four derivatives namely Creative, Fearless, Empowered, and Empowered+ in a price bracket of Rs 13.99-16.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It returns a real-world driving range of 350-375 km on a single charge while the top power and peak torque stand at 142 bhp and 215 Nm, respectively.

Some of the notable features in Tata Nexon EV 45 include Voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, V2V charging & V2L technology, Driver & co-driver ventilated seats, Air purifier with AQI sensor & display, JBL cinematic sound system (4 Speakers + 4 Tweeters + 1Subwoofer) and Arcade.ev – App Suite.
