Tata Curvv Gets A Price Hike In India – Here’s All You Need To Know

Launched as India’s first locally manufactured SUV-coupe model in September 2024, the Tata Curvv gets a minor price hike

Tata Motors has quietly increased the prices of the Curvv and put the revisions into effect immediately. The company has altered the prices of only select configurations, though. The Tata Curvv’s prices still start at 9,99,990 rupees (ex-showroom), maintaining a sub-10 lakh entry price to preserve the psychological appeal.

Higher up in the line-up, Creative S GDI turbo-petrol MT, Accomplished+ A GDI turbo petrol-DCA, Creative+ S GDI turbo petrol-MT, Creative+ S GDI turbo-petrol DCA, Accomplished S GDI turbo-petrol MT, Accomplished+ A GDI turbo petrol-MT, and the Accomplished+ A GDI turbo petrol-DCA configurations are now INR 3,000 dearer.

Barring the base and the aforementioned higher-end configurations, all other configurations of the Tata Curvv have become INR 13,000 more expensive. While the prices still start at 9,99,990 rupees (ex-showroom), they now go up to 19,51,990 rupees (ex-showroom).

Tata Motors offers the Curvv with not one or two but three different engine options. The range starts with the 1.2-litre Revotron turbocharged petrol engine producing 88.2 kW (118 hp) and 170 Nm of torque. Above that, the company offers a new 1.2-litre Hyperion turbocharged direct injection petrol engine that develops 91.9 kW (123 hp) and 225 Nm of torque.

For customers who frequently drive long distances and seek lower fuel costs, Tata Motors also gives an option of the 1.5-litre Kryojet turbocharged diesel engine that produces 86.7 kW (116 hp) and 260 Nm of torque. All three engines are linked to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The latter is available in a wide range of trims.

Tata Motors equips the Curvv with a host of premium features like flush-fitted door handles with welcome light, 18-inch alloy wheels, powered tailgate with gesture activation, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof with mood lighting, ventilated front seats with 6-way power adjustment for the driver, and reclining rear seats.

On the safety front, Tata Motors offers various Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems, a 360º camera system, six airbags, electrochromatic IRVM, Hill Descent Control, automatic headlamps, and much more. The Curvv is a 5-star Bharat NCAP-rated model.
