We already know that two of them will be the all-new Tata Sierra and the Avinya that are set to launch within the next couple of years in India
Tata Motors is preparing for a major portfolio expansion targeting over 15 nameplates by the end of 2030 across both ICE and electric segments. The plan includes 7 completely new nameplates along with 23 updates or facelifts spread across the timeline as the brand does not look to be slowing down in its aggressive product assault anytime soon.
Leading the upcoming introductions are models like the Sierra and the production version of the Avinya concept – both central to the company’s next-generation design language and EV series. Also in development are several unnamed products – labelled ICE Product A, ICE Product B along with two EV entries codenamed EV Product X and EV Product Y.
These were revealed during a dealer meet as Tata further reiterated its plans to bring in 30 new models within the next half decade. The company will bring back the Sierra badge before the close of the current financial year. It will feature both petrol and electric propulsion with the battery-powered model set to debut ahead of the internal combustion variant.

To support its upcoming range of products, Tata has set aside close to Rs. 35,000 crore in investment. Within Tata’s current portfolio, the ICE Punch is among the few yet to receive a big mid-cycle revision and it could be on the cards sooner rather than later. As for the rest of the lineup, both the Tiago and Tigor are reportedly being lined up for mid-cycle enhancements in the near future.
Tata will introduce the petrol option for both the Harrier and Safari with a rollout before the financial year comes to a close. The same engine is expected to serve the upcoming Sierra as well. The next-generation Nexon is also in the works although its market introduction is still some way off.
