Tata ended the month of November 2025 with 57,436 unit sales and a 22 percent rise over last year as it finished second in the overall sales standings
Tata Motors endured another success month in November 2025 as it finished as the second most sold passenger vehicle manufacturer in the country behind Maruti Suzuki and ahead of Mahindra and Hyundai. Instead of a smooth pattern, the numbers look like a combination of spikes and drop-offs as a couple of its models recorded notable de-growth.
Let us start with the Nexon which once again carried most of the weight. Its 22,434 unit sales run placed it firmly at the top inching ahead of its October figure by a small margin and still managing a strong year-on-year climb over the 15,329 units it posted the previous November. It was also the highest sold PV in India last month.
Just behind it, the Punch continued its familiar rise. The micro SUV pulled in 18,753 units and held a clean 21 per cent growth against last year’s number with an extra bump when compared to October. Both models have created a two-car frontline for Tata and that pattern didn’t change this month either, even though the rest of the lineup moved in several different directions.

The Tiago, unlike the front-runners, slipped on the month-on-month chart. It still posted 5,988 units for November and managed a year-on-year improvement but compared to October’s much higher 8,850 units, it registered a sharp fall. The Altroz mirrored a similar behaviour. While its November tally of 3,013 units beat last year’s performance convincingly, the step down from October’s number added another red mark to the sheet.
The MoM drops can be attributed to the brand coming off stellar numbers this festive season as the demand starts to ease a bit. The Tigor’s story for November was tough – closing at 488 units and marking a steep decline compared to both last year and last month. The Curvv followed a similar pattern: 1,094 units in November, a massive slide from the high tally of 5,101 units recorded in the previous November and another drop compared to October.

On the opposite end, the Harrier recorded one of the month’s biggest turnarounds. Its year-on-year jump of 174 per cent stands out on the entire sheet – thanks to its leap from 1,374 units last November to 3,771 this time, even if October’s number was slightly higher. The Safari too posted steady growth on the year-on-year front while tapering a little when measured against the previous month. Altogether, Tata ended the month with 57,436 units – a 22 percent rise over last year.
