Tata Sales At 57,000+ Units In Nov 2025 With 22% Growth

Tata Motors witnessed a rise in domestic sales as well as exports while EV business recorded unprecedented growth last month in the country

Tata Motors has registered sales of 57,436 units, including EVs, in the passenger vehicle (PV) segment in the domestic market in Nov 2025. The company recorded a YoY growth of 22 percent as it had retailed 47,063 units in Nov 2024. The overall (domestic + exports) electric vehicle (EV) sales witnessed a sharp rise by 52 percent with a total of 7,911 units being dispatched last month against 5,202 units in Nov 2024. As far as exports are concerned, they grew by a staggering 3164.8 percent with 1,763 units as compared to 54 units during the same month last year.

The company sold a total of 59,199 units in the domestic and international market for November 2025 with a YoY growth of 25.6 percent. Tata Motors had retailed 47,117 units during the same period last year. It left behind arch rival Mahindra & Mahindra in a fierce battle as the gap between the two home-grown automakers was barely 1000-1500 units.

Tata Motors continued to maintain the third position behind Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai, who retained the first and second positions, respectively. Mahindra & Mahindra grabbed the fourth spot behind Tata Motors. In the EV segment, it maintained the topmost position leaving behind the likes of Mahindra, Hyundai and MG Motor in the domestic market.

Tata Nexon

Tata Motors has been on a roll of late with multiple new model launches in the Indian market. Recently, it brought back the Sierra nameplate to life after a gap of more than two decades. Tata Sierra was launched at an introductory price of Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom) in the domestic market. It is the brand’s sixth SUV model after the Punch, Nexon, Harrier, Safari and Curvv.

Tata Sierra comes with a triple-screen setup which serves as the driver’s digital display, central touchscreen system and personal infotainment system for the front passenger. It also boasts of Dolby Atmos with 12 JBL Black Speaker Setup including SonicShaft Soundbar, 13 JBL Modes and OTT streaming. The SUV has a massive boot capacity of 622 litres.

Underpinning the all-new ARGOS architecture, the Sierra comes loaded with several premium features in the form of Three Terrain Modes, 360° HD SVS with 4Sight Blind Spot, In-built Navigation with Mappls, Level 1 ADAS tech with 22 features, 5G Connectivity with OTA Updates, AR-based Heads-Up Display (HUD), personalized settings for climate control and driver seat position.

Mechanically, the Sierra SUV is available with two petrol and one diesel engine. It is equipped with the 1.5L 4-cylinder turbocharged TGDi petrol engine which develops top power of 158 bhp and peak torque of 255 Nm. The SUV can also be availed with a naturally-aspirated 1.5L 4-cylinder Revotron petrol engine with max power of 104.5 bhp and highest torque of 145 Nm. The diesel variants come with a 1.5L 4-cylinder Kryojet engine which belts out 116 bhp and 260 Nm.
