Maruti Suzuki has extended price benefits beyond GST 2.0 reduction, resulting in a total cut of up to Rs. 1.30 lakh in the case of the S-Presso
Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) recently revealed the new price list for its entire line-up with the reduced GST rates. Effective from 22nd September, the home-grown carmaker has extended the full benefits of the new GST rates to the customers. Moreover, for a few models, the company has cut down on the prices over and above the GST benefits.
The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso gets the highest GST 2.0 benefits in the entire line-up, with the price reduction ranging from Rs. 70,600, going all the way up to Rs. 1.30 lakh. To begin with, the LXI (O) CNG manual variant gets the highest benefit of Rs. 1.30 lakh, with the new price set at Rs. 4.62 lakh (ex-showroom).
The entry-level STD (O) variant of the S-Presso is priced at Rs. 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most affordable car in the brand’s line-up. The LXI (O) variant gets a reduction of Rs. 1.20 lakh, and it will now set you back by Rs. 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom).

Moving up the ladder, the VXI (O) manual transmission variant is now priced at Rs. 4.30 lakh, down from the earlier 5.21 lakh (ex-showroom). This accounts for a total benefit of Rs. 91,599. Similarly, the VXI+ (O) manual variant will now cost Rs. 4.80 lakh (ex-showroom), and it is the top-spec trim in the S-Presso’s manual transmission line-up.
Talking about the AGS transmission option, the S-Presso gets two trims, i.e. VXI (O) AGS and VXI+ (O) AGS. With the new GST rates, the former is priced at Rs. 4.75 lakh, while the latter will set you back by Rs. 5.25 lakh (ex-showroom). The AGS variants get a price cut of Rs. 96,600 and Rs. 75,600, respectively. The VXI+ (O) AGS variant is also the most expensive variant in the hatchback’s line-up.

Last but not least, the LXI (O) CNG variant of the S-Presso gets a price cut of Rs. 1,29,600 while the VXI (O) variant sees a reduction of Rs. 99,600. The CNG range of the hatchback now starts from Rs. 4.62 lakh (ex-showroom) for the LXI (O) variant. On the other hand, the VXI (O) CNG trim will set you back by Rs. 5.12 lakh (ex-showroom).
