In November 2025, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga continued its stranglehold at the top of the 7-seater sales charts ahead of Scorpio, Bolero, Innova and Carens
The seven-seater segment again showed decent tallies in the month of November 2025 with year-on-year numbers separating consistent performers from models seeing steep swings in demand. Maruti Suzuki’s Ertiga continued its familiar run at the top – posting a 7 per cent year-on-year increase last month.
Its total domestic sales rose from 15,150 units in November 2024 to 16,197 units this year – showing that demand has grown steadily rather than sharply. This kind of controlled growth suggests the Ertiga has reached a mature phase where replacement demand and first-time family buyers keep volumes consistent.
The Mahindra Scorpio, however, showed higher growth standards with a 23 per cent rise year-on-year. Volumes climbed from 12,704 units to 15,616 units – making it one of the biggest contributors to overall segment growth. The volume jump suggests sustained appetite for Mahindra’s ladder frame SUVs – especially in markets where road presence and durability still matter.

An even steeper increase came from the Mahindra Bolero which recorded a massive 49 per cent jump. Sales surged from 7,045 units last November to 10,521 units in November 2025. The near 50 per cent rise indicates the Bolero’s continued dominance across different regions of the market where practical use cases and low running costs outweigh newer design or feature considerations.
The Toyota Innova posted a healthy 18 per cent growth with sales rising from 7,867 units to 9,295 units. Kia’s Carens also maintained positive momentum – growing by 15 per cent year-on-year to 6,530 units. On the flip side, the Mahindra XUV700 saw the sharpest decline among the top ten, registering a 32 per cent drop.
