Nissan Tekton, the successor to the Nissan Terrano, likely to come loaded to the brim with premium features right from launch
India’s mid-size SUV blitz saw the all-new Tata Sierra, all-new Kia Seltos, and all-new Renault Duster break cover recently, not to forget the all-electric Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella. On 4 February, an all-new Nissan model will join the fray – the Tekton. Here are the top ten features that you can expect from the Nissan Tekton:
1. Google built-in
The Nissan Tekton will likely feature a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Google built-in. Frequently used apps like Google Maps and Google Assistant would be built into the system, providing convenient access without requiring pairing the smartphone. Additional native apps would be available via Google Play.

2. Google Gemini
In the future, the Nissan Tekton’s infotainment system will likely get Google Gemini in place of Google Assistant via a software update. The AI assistant would enable human-like natural dialogue and understand more complex commands.
3. Dual-zone automatic climate control system
A dual-zone automatic climate control system should allow the driver and front passenger to set separate temperature settings.

4. 15+ ADAS
The Nissan Tekton should come with more than 15 advanced driver assistance systems, including Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Stop & Go, Blind Spot Warning (BSW), and Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR).
5. 48-colour ambient lighting system
The Nissan Tekton’s ambient lighting system should allow the driver to choose from 48 colours and may change the colours as per the driving mode.

6. Multi-function front seats
The front seats of the Nissan Tekton will likely feature electric adjustment to improve convenience and ventilation to improve comfort, especially during summer.
7. Panoramic sunroof
A panoramic sunroof would fill the cabin with natural light, making long journeys feel less tiring, while providing expansive views of the city skyline and the sky.

08. Wireless smartphone charger
The driver or one of the passengers will likely be able to charge their smartphone by simply placing it on top of an inductive charging pad, without the need for cables. Four USB Type-C ports are also expected, two in the front and two in the back.
9. Fully digital instrument cluster with map view
The Nissan Tektok will likely feature a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with configurable layouts, including one that includes a view of the route set in the infotainment system.

10. Power tailgate
The Nissan Tekton should feature a power tailgate that allows the driver to open the boot simply at the touch of a button on the key fob and close it at the touch of a button integrated into the tailgate.
