Toyota has announced the inclusion of 6 airbags as standard to the Glanza’s range while the limited-run Prestige Package has been introduced
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has added two updates to its Glanza hatchback – one addressing safety, the other offering cosmetic upgrades through a limited accessory bundle. The larger of the two changes involves six airbags being a standard safety fitment available across every trim of the premium hatchback’s lineup in the domestic market.
All variants of the hatchback will now ship with dual front, side and curtain airbags as standard. The Japanese auto major has also introduced a limited time accessory pack under the Prestige label. Available from mid-June until the end of July 2025, the dealer installed bundle consists of visual upgrades meant to dress up the Glanza’s exterior and enhance its appeal.
The Toyota Glanza Prestige package includes chrome-accented mouldings along the doors and fenders, lower grille garnish, rear lamp overlays, illuminated door sills, rear skid plate, ORVM highlights and weather visors. Besides these additions, no enhancements have been part of the range. The hatchback continues with the 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine, returning up to 22.94 kmpl when coupled with the AMT gearbox.

The fuel efficiency stands at 30.61 km per kg in its CNG guise. Key equipment continues to be headlined by a 9-inch touchscreen with smartphone compatibility, 360-degree camera, HUD, connected-car tech via Toyota i-Connect, rear AC vents and tilt telescopic steering. The Glanza is also backed by a factory warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh km which can be extended up to 5 years or 2.2 lakh km.
Toyota’s support structure includes 24×7 roadside assistance, 60-minute express servicing and a versatile finance solutions. Toyota is looking to strengthen its positioning in the premium hatchback space where the Glanza has found over two lakh homes since launch. Prices for the Glanza now start at Rs. 6.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

The car continues to be available in a combination of two-tone and single-tone colour options such as Sporting Red, Insta Blue, Enticing Silver, Gaming Grey and Café White. Buyers can either place bookings online through Toyota’s official site or approach authorised dealerships.
