Tata Motors’ upcoming production product portfolio will include seven brand new cars and 23 mid-life facelift models
In a recent dealer meeting, Tata Motors gave away some important details regarding its upcoming product portfolio. Going by the leaked image from the presentation, the Indian carmaker will have a total of 15 nameplates in its line-up by the year 2030. These details are in line with the information shared by the company during an investor meet held last month, i.e. June 2025.
Talking about the details, a total of 30 new car launches are in the pipeline for the Indian market in the next 5 years. This includes seven all-new nameplates and 23 mid-cycle facelift updates. Currently, the company sports a total of 8 nameplates in its portfolio, and it aims to push the count to 15 by the end of this decade.
Tata Motors aims to achieve high sales volumes through its aggressive product onslaught. The seven new upcoming models will comprise both ICE and all-electric offerings. As per the details available, three new ICE models are on the cards, while the remaining four will be EVs.

The bandwagon of new nameplate launches will kick-start with the debut of the much-awaited Sierra SUV, which is expected to debut by the end of 2025. It was showcased earlier this year at the 2025 Auto Expo in its near-production guise, and it will be available in both ICE as well as EV avatars. The ICE model is expected to launch first, followed by the all-electric Sierra.
One of the most anticipated SUVs in India, the Sierra’s test mule has already been spotted testing in India on multiple occasions. The highlight of the Sierra will be its boxy design language, sporting the legendary nameplate, and in its ICE guise, it will get both petrol and diesel engine options.

The Avinya EV sub-brand will have two new models, i.e. Avinya and Avinya X, both of which have already been showcased in concept form. Tata Motors will likely position the Avinya moniker at the premium end of the electric vehicle segment, and it is expected to launch in 2027.
In addition to these aforementioned models, two ICE (Product A and Product B) and two EV (Product X and Product Y) models are in the pipeline for the Indian market. The details of these four upcoming products are under wraps, however, we expect them to be positioned in the SUV segment, in some form or another.
