Expected to launch in the Indian market around mid-2026, the Norton Atlas has been spotted testing for the second time
TVS-owned Norton Motorcycles is preparing for a debut in the Indian market with a bunch of new products. Ahead of the expected launch around mid-2026, the Atlas ADV has been spotted testing again, revealing some fresh details.
The latest spy shots give us a clear view of the overall design language, which seems in line with the motorcycle showcased at the EICMA last year. For reference, two variants were showcased at the motorcycle show, i.e. standard and GT. The GT has 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, while the standard version has 19/17-inch (F/R) cross-spoke wheels.
The test bike in the previous spy shots was surely the GT variant with 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, however, this motorcycle seen in the pictures has 19/17-inch (F/R) alloy wheels, possibly hinting at a new India-specific variant. It is also important to note that the GT variant has less suspension travel and a lower seat height as compared to the regular version.

The ADV is seen sporting block pattern tyres, highlighting its off-road ready intent. Another noticeable difference from the brand’s official unveil at the EICMA is the gold-finished front USD forks in the test motorcycle. Apart from this, it also misses out on adjustable front suspension and hand guards, which means that the ADV could be offered in a lower spec variant, in order to achieve competitive pricing.
In terms of design, the Norton Atlas appears quite sizable, sporting hefty fairing, which gives it an imposing stance. The wide dual-pod headlight with integrated DRL and the tall windscreen speak of a typical ADV styling, while keeping the overall design minimalistic.

Talking about the powertrain, the Norton Atlas will be powered by a 585cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, sporting a 270-degree crank layout. It will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox. While the exact power figures are yet to be revealed, it will produce around 65-70 hp. In terms of features, the ADV will come equipped with an 8-inch TFT instrument cluster with connected features, cruise control, traction control, riding modes, and a bunch of other electronic aids.
