The first dealership of Vinfast in India is located in Surat (Gujarat) and it will provide sales, service and after-sales support to the buyers
As part of its India market entry, VinFast has formed strategic partnerships with RoadGrid, myTVS, and Global Assure to establish a nationwide network for charging and after-sales services. Further reinforcing its commitment to sustainability, VinFast has also partnered with BatX Energies, a leading Indian clean-tech company, to promote battery recycling and develop a circular battery value chain. These collaborations highlight VinFast’s mission to drive a greener future through responsible innovation.
Vinfast Auto India, the wholly-owned Indian subsidiary of the Vietnam-based EV brand, has inaugurated its first dealership in the country. Located in Surat (Gujarat), it is spread across 3,000 Sq.Ft. while it offers sales, service and after-sales support to the buyers. Vinfast will start its journey in India with the launch of two new EV models namely VF 6 and VF 7. The bookings for both these all-electric SUVs started on July 5 at a fully refundable token payment of Rs 21,000 through the brand’s official website.
Christened as ‘VinFast Surat’, the company’s first dealership in India is promoted by Chandan Car which is quite a popular name in the Indian auto industry. Vinfast has stated that it intends to have at least 35 showrooms in the domestic market by the end of 2025. The new dealership in Piplod (Surat) will showcase the VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs for the prospective buyers.

Speaking at the showroom inauguration, Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, CEO, VinFast Asia, said, “The first VinFast Showroom in Surat, Gujarat is a symbol of our deep commitment to India. We are excited to bring the VinFast experience closer to Indian consumers. With this dealership in Gujarat, we aim to offer not just electric vehicles, but a complete ownership journey built on quality, trust, and service excellence. With trusted partners like Chandan Car, we are building a future-ready EV ecosystem in the country.”
Vinfast VF 6 and VF 7 will be locally assembled at the brand’s EV production facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu which will be inaugurated in the coming days. The mass-scale development of both these e-SUVs is likely to commence by the end of August 2025. Vinfast has stated that it will make India the future hub for electric vehicle production.

Earlier this year, Vinfast VF 6 and VF 7 were unveiled at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo where the Vietnamese brand announced its foray into the Indian auto market. It recently announced multiple strategic alliances with RoadGrid, myTVS, and Global Assure for a wide network of charging stations and after-sales support. It also joined hands with BatX Energies to encourage battery recycling and get into a circular battery value chain.
