Yamaha has reduced the prices of the entire 2026 R15 range for a limited period of time as part of its 70th global anniversary celebrations
India Yamaha Motor has rolled out a limited period anniversary pricing programme on its R15 range as part of its 70th global anniversary celebrations. Effective from January 5, the initiative introduces a Rs. 5,000 price benefit across the R15 lineup – lowering the entry point for buyers looking to step into Yamaha’s performance motorcycle portfolio.
With the offer applied, the R15 range now begins at Rs. 1,50,700 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The reduced pricing eyes at widening access to one of India’s most recognisable entry-level supersport motorcycles. Yamaha is targeting young riders and first-time performance bike buyers who want a fully loaded sport offering without stretching their budgets.
The anniversary offer is expected to be available for a limited duration and may vary slightly depending on dealership level schemes. The revised pricing differentiates the three R15 variants based on equipment and positioning. The R15 S, which sits at the base of the lineup, is now priced at Rs. 1,50,700 – making it the most affordable way to enter Yamaha’s supersport family.

Moving up, the R15 V4 is priced at Rs. 1,66,200 and adds more advanced electronics and premium hardware. At the top sits the R15 M priced at Rs. 1,81,100 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Since its introduction, the Yamaha R15 range has gained a strong following for its aggressive race-derived styling, performance as well as good fuel efficiency.
Its popularity is reflected in production numbers with over one million units manufactured in India. Under the fairing, the Yamaha R15 series is powered by a 155 cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine, supported by Yamaha’s DiASil cylinder technology. The motorcycle is built around Yamaha’s proven Deltabox frame which plays a major role in delivering its sharp handling and planted feel at speed.
