2025 TVS Apache RTR 310 produces the same 35.6 PS at 9,700 rpm and 28.7 Nm at 6,650 rpm but the engine gets recalibrated for better real-world responsiveness

TVS Motor Company has introduced an updated version of the Apache RTR 310 with the addition of a handful of new features, aesthetic revisions and expanded options under the brand’s Build-To-Order (BTO) platform. The motorcycle, continues to be powered by the familiar 312.12 cc single-cylinder engine, puts out 35.6 PS at 9,700 rpm and 28.7 Nm at 6,650 rpm.

While the figures remain unchanged, the Hosur-based manufacturer says the motor has been recalibrated to offer better real-world responsiveness. The unit is now OBD2B compliant and is capable of real-time emissions data logging and meets updated regulatory norms. One of the more noticeable changes is the new transparent clutch cover – a segment-first feature in its class, similar to its latest faired supersport sibling, the RR 310.

It is joined by updated graphics and colour options. TVS is offering the motorcycle in three new shades for 2025 to ensure a refreshed appeal while the Sepang Blue finish continues exclusively on the top-end BTO variant. The front suspension has also been updated – the base variant now gets 43 mm USD forks bringing it in line with the rest of the range.

In addition, sequential turn signals and hand guards are now offered as standard and there is a new second generation digital cluster with a revised user interface. This display now supports multiple languages and features deeper menu customisation. Notably, the BTO programme remains a key differentiator for the Apache RTR 310 – letting buyers add packages like the Dynamic Pro Kit.

The setup introduces ride enhancements such as a keyless system, Drag Torque Control and Launch Control integrated into the RT-DSC platform. The RT-DSC system itself – short for Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control – continues to offer cornering ABS, traction control and wheelie mitigation. TVS has also simplified the rider interface – reducing physical switches and relying more heavily on the updated cluster.

The layout and ergonomics remain largely unchanged maintaining the aggressive rider triangle familiar to those upgrading from smaller Apache models. Pricing for the updated Apache RTR 310 begins at Rs. 2,39,990 (ex-showroom) for the base trim, going all the way up to Rs. 2,57,000 for the top non-BTO variant. The BTO options start from Rs. 2,75,000, depending on the combination of features chosen. All variants go on sale from July 16 across major cities including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata.
