Updated 2025 Volvo XC60 comes with cosmetic revisions and interior changes alongside the addition of new features and technologies
Volvo is preparing to introduce the updated XC60 in India on August 1, 2025. The refreshed crossover, which made its global debut earlier this year, remains one of the best-selling plug-in hybrids across Europe. Since its original launch in 2017, the XC60 has consistently been the Swedish brand’s top-performing model worldwide.
Changes to the facelifted Volvo XC60 bring in a revised grille showcasing the updated iron mark, new alloy wheels and a reprofiled air intake. At the rear, the lighting signature now carries a darker tint, intended to elevate the visual maturity. The colour palette has expanded as well with the introduction of Aurora Silver and Forest Lake while a new shade called Mulberry Red also joins the lineup.
The cabin update places emphasis on the overhauled infotainment system, now centred around an 11.2-inch floating touchscreen. With a 21 per cent improvement in pixel density, the display aims to enhance both clarity and legibility. This new interface boasts deeper integration of Google services, streamlining access to navigation, voice control and third-party apps.

Backing the sharper interface is Qualcomm’s next-generation Snapdragon Cockpit Platform which brings over twice the processing performance and a tenfold leap in graphics capability. The updated XC60 also revisits its material palette introducing finishes such as Navy Herringbone Weave and Quilted Nordico trim to add a profound texture.
It also features Bowers & Wilkins audio system with a new speaker mesh. For the Indian market, Volvo is expected to retain the 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol unit which comes paired with a mild-hybrid system. The powertrain may continue to deliver 250 hp maximum power and 350 Nm of peak torque connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
