Here we have listed the new SUVs from Hyundai and Kia over the next 12 months as ICE and electric offerings are said to be waiting in the pipeline
Hyundai Motor Group comprising Hyundai and Kia brands are looking to further expand their reach in India as new SUVs are waiting to arrive from both brands across different segments. Here we have brought you a rundown of the possible upcoming offerings over the next twelve months:
1. New Hyundai Venue:

Hyundai is preparing to introduce the second generation Venue in time for the festive season with test mules already spotted on Indian roads on several occasions. The upcoming iteration will bring notable cosmetic updates with a reprofiled front section, reworked rear styling and new alloy wheels. The cabin, meanwhile, is in line to receive a comprehensive overhaul as well.

Test prototypes of the second generation Kia Seltos have surfaced both on Indian roads and overseas – pointing to development activity underway across multiple markets. A global debut is anticipated in early 2026 with an India launch likely to follow sometime later that year. While it may retain familiar powertrain choices, the introduction of a hybrid variant remains a possibility for a later stage.
3. Hyundai Inster Based EV:

Hyundai’s roadmap for the Indian market appears to be tilting further towards electrification with several battery-powered models reportedly in the pipeline. One of the key upcoming launches could be a compact electric SUV based on the Inster – tentatively scheduled for a 2026 arrival. It will be positioned to rival the Tata Punch EV and upcoming Mahindra XUV 3XO EV.
4. Kia Syros EV:
Doubling down on the Syros nameplate, Kia is expected to introduce the electric version sometime next year in India. Expect minor exterior changes compared to its ICE counterpart and it could be equipped with the same battery packs as the recently launched Carens Clavis EV.

We can expect similar features list from the ICE Syros with some notable additions. It will boast six airbags, Level 2 ADAS, front ventilated seats, automatic climate control and more.
