Ola Roadster X+ 4.5 kWh version boasts a top speed of 125 kmph; charging from zero to eighty per cent takes approximately 5.9 hours
A few weeks after the first batch of Ola’s Roadster X series began reaching customers, the company has now expanded deliveries to the 4.5 kWh variant. Priced at Rs. 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom), this version is now available across India. Earlier, the brand had rolled out a limited-time benefit of Rs. 10,000 for the first 5,000 buyers to generate more interest.
The Roadster X series is offered in five variants starting with the 2.5 kWh base model priced at Rs. 99,999. Positioned above it, the 3.5 kWh version carries a tag of Rs. 1,09,999 while the 4.5 kWh trim comes in at Rs. 1,24,999 with the plus version Rs. 5,000 costlier. Sitting at the top of the range, the Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh variant features Ola’s new 4680 Bharat Cell.
It delivers a claimed range of 501 km on a full charge and is priced at Rs. 1,99,999. All figures mentioned are ex-showroom. The Roadster X range features a mid-mounted motor with chain drive working in tandem with an integrated MCU that controls how torque is distributed. It has been designed to enhance both acceleration and energy efficiency.

Unusually for a motorcycle, the platform also uses flat-style wiring looms. Ola claims this approach helps reduce heat buildup, lowers overall weight and improves internal space management. It also features a patent-backed brake-by-wire setup combined with single-channel ABS. The battery pack is IP67-rated for resistance to water and dust, and its internal layout features improved wire bonding.
Ola also states that the Battery Management System has been designed to be user-serviceable aiming to reduce complexity in long-term maintenance. MoveOS 5 brings in functional upgrades on the software front adding features like reverse assist, selectable regen mode, and cruise assist. These changes are available across the lineup backed by a shared electronic platform.

Ola offers the Roadster X+ 4.5 kWh variant in five paint options: Industrial Silver, Anthracite, Stellar Blue, Pine Green and Ceramic White. Acceleration is rated at 2.7 seconds for the 0-100 kmph run with a top speed of 125 kmph. Its charging from zero to eighty per cent takes approximately 5.9 hours.
