Toyota clocked total sales of 3,88,801 units in 2025 and registered a notable 19 per cent growth over 3,26,329 units sold during the same period the previous year
Toyota Kirloskar Motor recorded its strongest ever annual performance yet in CY2025 as it clocked total sales of 3,88,801 units and registered a notable 19 per cent growth over the 3,26,329 units sold in 2024. A closer look at the numbers shows that domestic sales formed the backbone of this achievement with 3,51,580 units registered in India last year 2025 with a appreciable growth of 17 per cent on a year-on-year basis.
Exports, meanwhile, emerged as a major growth lever for the company – jumping steeply by 42 per cent to 37,221 units as the numbers showed TKM’s expanding role as a manufacturing and export base for global markets. The positive trend was clearly visible in the closing month of the year as well. In December 2025, the total sales reached 39,333 units compared to 29,529 units sold during the same period last year.
The volumes led to a 33 per cent year-on-year growth. Domestic volumes for the month stood at 34,157 units while exports contributed a tally of 5,176 units. The Japanese brand has SUVs, MPVs and compact cars sold across different segments and they perform consistently. Particularly, the Innova Hycross, Fortuner, Urban Cruiser Hyryder and Glanza are the pick of the lot.

Product actions throughout the year further strengthened customer interest. The introduction of new models and variants such as the Land Cruiser 300, GR-S grade, Legender MT, along with multiple special editions across the lineup, helped keep the portfolio more appealing. The introduction of six airbags as standard for several models and the Innova Hycross securing a five-star Bharat NCAP rating are some of the highlights.
In addition to new products, Toyota Kirloskar Motor also invested in strengthening customer engagement and brand connect. Expansion of used-car outlets, value-added ownership programs and innovative cultural and youth-focused marketing initiatives were some of the key happenings in 2025.
